Ok I lied - this is now the most surreal moment - copy everything I said in the previous post/picutre and now add this visual to the whole scene. What the hell is this mural doing up on the wall in Beijing?
RIGHT NOW: Dj playing eminem's toy soldiers and 50 cent, missy elliot wannabe dancers behind me, nelly dancer to my right, Dj Disco, Cameltoe Santa Clause + naked blonde haired woman with perky implants and sunglasses - with a dog/cat/bull targetting her nether regions - oh yes and I am in china? SURREALLLLL!

I think it's a bull, Bublie thinks it's a dog - but now I think it may be a cat. What o do you think?

This is the most surreal moment I 've had so far - Dj Disco is playing Eminem's Toy Soldiers, with those 2 girls in the previous picture trying to dance like Missy Elliot behind me, the announcer dancing like he's down with Nelly, and then there that scary looking santa clause with a humongous camel-toe with his arms reaching out behind DJ disco. So they are my new friends from my Great Wall climb. You know travelling makes you really hone in on your instincts. When you meet new people in other countries - you have to trust how you "feel" about them. I mean Phil here could be a complete psycho - Bublie could be a complete mania manic - but heyyy my instincts tell me NO.

Ahhh yes - my chinese girlfriends I wish I could rescue you and tell you dont' haveto dance like Britney Spears. These 2 girls are the only ones dancing in the whole entire bar. If you look their table - they finished lots of beer and cigarettes. I feel so embarrassed for them as I am watching them dance.

We (Brij, Bublie, Phil and I) all decided to meet up on Monday, the day after our Great wall climb. all of got massages after the climb on Sunday - so we weren't too sore. Brij and Bublie live in LA, CA, Phil is from London and Rajid (phil's hostel mate) lives in Germany. Quite an international table ehhh?

this whole bar street is actually quite sleazy - but a lot of new middle class young Beijingers come here to "play cool."
Hey it's like America -whether you are in LA or BJ you will find Non-Italians wearing Italia jackets. You can also see lots of men in suits - a lot of them come here to "make" business deals - you know shake hands and sign contracts. Like I said - it's not tooo different from america -except for the american business men sign their contracts at work and then they go to bars to drink beer hit on women. Here, they are more efficient - sign the contract, drinks beers, and hit on women all in 1 place!

So it looks like we had quite a night right? all the tables have this drinking dice game. The cigarette boxes have large warning signs that smoking kills others around you. I don't think the warning are working b.c practically everyone smokes in china.
