El Zarape in Hillcresthas the best Lobster Quesadilla's in the world! This is the first restaurant I go to everytime I get into town - oh and get it with their guacamole.

Dangerous Trees Set for Removal! oh No!

it was really sad we went up to Julian because it was after the big wildfire of 2004 - where a lot of Southern Ca burned down - especially parts of San Diego. Usually the drive is filled with winding pathways of trees sweeping overhead, but it was filled with parched black bald trees branches. It was actually quite depressing - as we initially wanted to go into the mountains to lift our spirits - and then it turned out to be a morose trip with all the burnt forests.
