I love leftover anachronistic signs. This one is on my old block in Bed-Stuy on Classon and Atlantic. I call her Pinky Elmyra. I never get around by street signs. Going down Atlantic Ave I always know when to turn left onto Classson-just look for Pink Elmyra! She shines in daylight and night.

Generally Central Park is the model-park of NYC. But I say poo-poo to that. Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park kick CP's ass! We don't have any plebian tourists, imperious pidgeons at your feet, and most of all we don't have any snooty snotty synthetic unctuous Upper West or East siders.

so it's just another day at the park for me- couples drinking wine, kids playing with water guns, volleyball game, barbecues--I love Brooklyn!
