Beijing China

So I took my first stab at public transportation today and ended up in Tianenmen Sq.

Tianenmen has affected Chinese people around the world in different ways - and also plays a large part in how others view China. What happened that year in China did not help me in my attempt to make friends. It definitely exacerbated the overt racism I encountered - and plus I was the new kid, so after I was bullyed around I ended hanging out by myself and bullying the fat kids. these white buildings are called Soho - which is equivalent to the Soho of NYC. The most affluent of Beijing have an apt in this area. If you multiply this picture by 10 - then that's the full span of SOHO -my camera is only capturing 1/10th of these building clusters.
Thanks Dave for pointing this out!
