Lessons from Front Lines:

I look forward to taking lots of pics like these in a few days. I'm really interested in finding pics of the "re-education" of manners. As Beijing is preparing itself for the 2008 Olympics, they are also trying to make the Chinese citizens more "polite."

I just flew into SF this morning. After I take care of some paperwork here - I'm off to China!

My only experience in Bakerfield is when I am driving on the 5 in my 8 hour trip to get to S. Ca or out of S. Ca - and Bakersfield is one part of the trip where you think how do people live here and when they hell will I get out of this stretch of the 5?

between the 2 of us our supposed "snack" trip to Juniors resulted in strawberry cheesecake, beets and onions, mac cheese, pumpkin cheesecake, and large brownie ice cream sundae.
Our tummies weren't happy with us the next day.

this is one of the most well done hiv/aids as i've seen in a while. By saying that both the female and male "know" about each other's status and they're STILLl happy, involved, stylish, and hip--takes the stigma off having and more importantly DISCLOSING the virus. Plus,targetting blacks and straight couples is soooo impt b.c the fastest growing hiv population is black females.

this is an advertisement for St. Francis College in Brooklyn. So I guess their graduates are soooooo elite that once they have a "college degree" they wear suits, keep sunglasses on indoors and talk continuously on their hands free cell.
It's funny how ads like these use the cultural cues of "power." b.c this ad's cues (men with suits, sunglasses, earpiece) are not so much about intelligence and knowledge-which is what u think college degrees should be about, but these cues are really about power, image, and perception.
So do guys really want to be like this and do women want guys like this?
