My Auntie, mom, grandmother and I made dinner and ate it with my grandfather. We updated him about everyone's lives, asked him to protect my grandmother and to help her wrist heal. Once someone passes, the Chinese tradition is to celebrate their passing day instead of their birthday.

I miss him so much. There are some questions in life that can never be answered - and even though they are trivial, you just can't help but ask the same questions over and over again when someone is gone, like - why did you have to go away so early? Can I have one more hug?
