Early Snow on Astor Place

so I step out of the subway from Brooklyn in Manhattan to meet up with Sheila - and mind you it's like 50 degrees, and I see SNOWWW! I was like how the hell did it only snow in Manhttan, not Brooklyn - and how did it snow when it's only 50 degrees! And then I looked around and noticed the only unmelted snow was in front of Starbucks. Then I realized this was a NYC publicity stunt - ONLY IN NY!
well it worked because I got my Tria out and started snapping away. Then Sheila found me as I was taking a picture. The funny part is that she said that once she saw this she knew I would take a pic and blog about it. That's right!
then we had lunch at Dojo and found some good deals at the East Village Urban Outfitters.

see how clear the instructions are here? I think should post this in San Diego if they r going to crazy with ticketing people.
See how they make it clear that "TO CROSS - PUSH BUTTON"
and they say "DON'T START" if the red hand is up.

TICKET II: Location of the Crime

so there is where Jakey and I were ticketed for violating pedestrian walking rules. The cop took 20 min to write our tickets and to do a background check with our driver liscences. We were publicly shamed - as everyone in Jack In The Box was staring at us like we were criminials - and everyone was driving by just staring.
The worst part is that we really didn't break jaywalking rules - I usually do NYC walking, but I was good here! And then on our way back from breakfast we saw him stopping another couple who jaywalked - and guess what he didn't ticket them! Why? Would it have anything to do with their light skin? I think Jakey and I were racially profiled for breaking pedestrian rules - he just had out to find a Chinese and Indian pedestrian violator.

TICKET I: First time Pedestrian Offender

San Diego, Ca
Jakey and I were just ticketed for violating pedestrian rules of San Diego. We didn't even jaywalk! We walked across st without pressing this white man walk button, so even though the light was green for cars parallel to this, we were ticketed cuz there was stil a red hand. We thought the cop was joking when he ticketed us. The problem is that there aren't instructions saying u can ONLY walk when u press the button. Look at the pic above where I captured Santa Monica's clear walking instructions. so now we are first time offenders of San Dieog's pedestrian rules.
