This is a half-human figurine ---serving butter. Now what seems to be wrong with this picture? That she's soooo happy about serving butter? That she's serving butter in a "chinese restaurant"? That her outfit is more clean than the waitress behind her? That she's wearing that titicaca black and white hair bonnet? Or that she has such a voluptous body for such a sedentary job of just holding butter 24hrs/day 7days/week? Or could it possibly be that she isn't a paid butter serving waitress - but a gift from Europe or even America?

This "black" bongo loving figurine half human size statue is across from the "black" female slave ummhmm butter server.
Hey I guess black folks all around the world love to play bongos right? And oh my my be-jesus-mes how joyful he seems!

I wonder if anyone has explained to this restaurant how these figurines - especially the female butter server - is actually quite offensive. Well I am coming back next week to pick something up ...

how is that Subway is already peppered everywhere in Beijing, when one just opened down the street from me in Brooklyn's Fort Greene and Bed Stuy?

I pass by this Subway everyday on my 20min walk or 5min bus ride to my nearest subway stop (Dongsimen)
