"Leonard Knight has constructed his biblical opus in the southeastern corner of California (near Niland)....it is a very strange place...Leonard is a strange man...but perhaps the excess of religious fervor makes for some interesting images. He constructs the "structure" of some of his spaces with hay bales and old tires...windows in the structure are provided by old car windshields....Leonard has spent over 15 years in the searing heat of the desert...
Leonard takes the windshields or windows from car doors and fashions windows in his various structures.....
