I was walking across the bridge to Manhattan and spotted this note that someone had taped up.

"you are the bridge and the borough that opened me with welcome arms, brooklyn I will miss you, but I promise to come back. It is here that I will root the memories of a city I could love from a far and experience with maddening intensity. Goodbye Brooklyn."
